Tuccillo’s New York

By Chris Tuccillo

New York continues to amaze me, between the urban beauty and the abundance of excitement. Growing up in Brooklyn and Queens allowed me to develop a healthy interest in my surroundings, especially the multiculturalism. In high school, I became interested in photography, mostly urban and candid shots of the Robert Frank nature. Although I never pursued photography at a collegiate or professional level, I continue to keep it as a hobby and passion. If I could describe my style, it would be something similar to Henri Cartier-Bresson’s technique; “We see and we make seen as a witness to the world around us; the event, in its natural activity, generates an organic rhythm of forms.”
